Discover how semi-solid aluminium slurries lower porosity, improve mechanical properties and ensure stable casting quality through thixotropic flow behavior.

A patent search revealed 87 Rheocasting technologies; only GISS, SEED, and RheoMetal remain. GISS & SEED’s cooling methods lead to inconsistent casting. RheoMetal ensures stable production with its EEM method, making it ideal for high-quality, consistent HPDC. Hence, Casting-Campus GmbH partners with Comptech AB.

Set sail into the future of casting with Rheocasting; your unfair advantage over sandcastings. Discover how to succeed in a shrinking RFQ market.

Optimize Gigacasting Batteries production with Rheocasting. Achieve leak-tight EV battery housings using smaller machines, reduce porosity, and cut costs while maintaining top-tier quality.

Foundries face a “hairdresser dilemma”: waiting for customers to dictate investments. Discover why proactive business development can revive foundries’ future.

Build more resilient revenue streams by supplier diversification that helps foundries turn technical know-how into new customers and markets
The die-casting industry is entering a period of structural change. Electrification is reducing demand for many traditional powertrain components, automotive supply chains are shifting, and price competition is becoming increasingly difficult to escape. But declining demand in established applications does not mean a decline in opportunity.
At China Die-Casting 2026, Fabian Niklas will present how foundries can move beyond the commodity trap and enter new, higher-value markets. The presentation will examine how Rheocasting supports applications requiring lightweight design, consistent mechanical properties, leak-tightness, and lower wall thickness.
Technology alone, however, is not enough. Foundries also need to rethink how new customers discover suppliers. As engineers increasingly use AI tools to research materials, processes, and manufacturing partners, technical expertise must become visible, understandable, and searchable. The companies that combine application knowledge, strong technical content, and a clear value proposition will be better positioned to win business outside their traditional customer base.
