Casting-Campus GmbH

How was the Euroguss for Casting-Campus?

The Euroguss closed its gates on Thursday. Now it is time to review how it was, and, to make it short, it was a fantastic event!

Loads of people came by the booth, and I didn’t have time to walk around the trade fair. That was a pity as there were so many companies I wanted to visit at their booth. At least some of the other exhibitors I met at the booth parties or at the Executive Circle breakfast.

The key topic of 2026 – Rheocasting

Rheocasting was one of the key topics highlighted at the trade fair. I had the honor to guide interested visitors to several rheocasting companies and was even quoted on Rheocasting in the exhibition’s final press release. While Casting-Campus didn’t have a booth in the Rheocasting Pavilion, our booth was nearby. This, of course, drew a lot of visitors to Hall 5. Many of them stopped by the booth. Most visitors were already aware of Rheocasting. They were looking for additional information and learning how to turn it into a strategy to offset the loss of volume from the automotive industry.

Many were amazed by the number of applications developed since the last Euroguss. This fact exactly shows why Rheocasting is the perfect business development tool for the foundry industry. Rheocasting expands the spectrum of applications for your existing HPDC equipment.

Looking at the visitors’ geography, one nation stood out: India. I had many foundries, purchasing organizations, and OEMs from India at my booth. Many already had a rough strategy for using Rheocasting to expand into new markets.

The Rheocasting Masterclass

A focal point of the booth was the Rheocasting Masterclass, a course on turning Rheocasting into a profitable business. It hit a nerve with the visitors and business cards after business cards ended up in the raffle box to win a free seat in the course, or at least secure an exhibition discount.

The three lucky winners were drawn directly at the trade fair, and they come from Turkey, India, and Germany. The winners get notified directly.

If you haven’t had the chance to stop by the booth, the application window is still open until Saturday, the 24th of January!

Casting Insights Newsletter and Goldcasting Podcast

Content marketing is key for my own company and for the sponsors on the Goldcasting podcast. What I haven’t realised until this exhibition is how many people read and follow these articles. I had several people coming by just for a selfie. I haven’t expected that ever to happen. Additionally, there were countless conversations around the fascinating topics the foundry industry produces every day that stay invisible. Thank you for all the great feedback!

In the coming weeks, I will write articles about the most common questions asked at the booth so you don’t miss this key information. Also several new episodes for the Goldcasting podcast were discussed. Stay tuned for that!

Follow the Goldcasting Podcast to hear different perspectives on the exhibition, recorded at the Euroguss!

Final Thoughts

What an event, I’m still in the process on following up on all the conversations. So, it is likely that you will have an email from me in your inbox on Monday morning.

I saw how crowded the exhibition was, and I totally understand that visiting other booths was impossible. But below this article and on every page on the website, there is always the possibility to schedule a meeting and have the conversation we missed in Nürnberg.
