Happy Birthday Casting-Campus - What a Reason to Celebrate!
Casting-Campus GmbH’s journey is closely tied to Rheocasting. I gained years of experience in the Comptech Rheometal process by using it on a Bühler Carat 440. So, my origins are 4400 tons of clamping force and large castings.
I was and still am thrilled that Comptech is a partner and customer number one for Casting-Campus. We even extended our cooperation last month. I’m so thankful to Per Jansson and the whole Comptech team. This cooperation brought me to several foundries in Sweden, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Romania to help them develop or improve their Rheocasting processes. Even more parts underwent a design change to take them from LPDC, DC, SC, or HPDC into Rheocasting to utilize the thixotropic properties of the slurry fully.
That isn’t the only cooperation formed in the last 12 months. Together with Hadi Namesa and his team at MTripleP, I’m working on AI-powered alloy composition and processing parameters. This drastically decreases the development time for new alloys and enables existing alloys to find compositions that quickly allow the maximum recycling content.
Another passion project is the Goldcasting Podcast with Staffan Zetterström. We discuss a different aspect of the foundry industry every two weeks and how to profit from it. If you scroll down, the second Gold Nugget is linked. It is about telecom castings.
Several new customers contacted me and booked consulting services and training. Most of them found me on LinkedIn. My weekly postings draw an audience I never expected. Thank you to each of my 496.803 readers for the posts. 4.585 people liked and commented on the articles from those half-million viewers. Thank you to each of you! I compiled a list of the most and least viewed articles. Feel free to read through them and share them with your friends, colleagues, and followers.
