Casting-Campus GmbH

Good bye 2024, welcome 2025

Today is the last day of 2024. It is time to reflect on the year and briefly summarise what happened during these 12 months. I’ll be as transparent as possible so you can gain some insights. Let’s start on the negative side and work our way to the top.

As for everyone in the foundry industry, it was also a challenging year for me and Casting-Campus. At the beginning of the year, it was already visible that the R&D expense budgets were restricted. So, the times of frequent trips to trial castings or series production starts in Europe went into the cellar. The shift of focus of the consulting model from trial castings to business development fully paid off. During the year, the portals were increasingly deserted, and independent business development was the only way forward. It works like a charm, and so many applications are out there waiting to be developed. I won’t dive into the specifics, as these are for my clients only.

The Goldcasting Podcast made a big leap forward. Over 60.000 people watched our videos and shorts for over 841 hours on YouTube, which is twenty-one 40-hour work weeks for podcast listeners. We gained the first three sponsors: Comptech, Hypertherm, and Euroguss365. Thank you for tuning into the podcast and making it the No.1 Foundry podcast in the world! Subscribe on your favourite podcast platform and LinkedIn to never miss a Gold Nugget.

The website of Casting-Campus GmbH and Goldcasting saw the light of day during the summer. It became the home of all the content from the Newsletter and Podcast. If you still need to visit the site, take a look. Sign up for the weekly newsletter when you enjoy the articles and videos. So you get all the articles hassle-free into your inbox each Tuesday.

So, let’s reveal the most viewed articles:

No.5: Rheocasting is no Golden Paint – Part 1

No.4: The Permanent Mold Killer Approach

No.3: 10 Reasons why Rheocasting is more sustainable than HPDC

No.2: How to meet the new Environmental and Quality Standards

No.1: The Alloy that never solidifies

All these articles revolve around Rheocasting, which is the disruptive force that brings the HPDC market out of crisis. For 2025, I will continue and intensify my pursuit of my motto, “Merger of Disciplines.” That means Casting-Campus will, hopefully, become your partner from business development through part development into series production.

So, from positioning where you want your series production to be in the years 25/26/27, all the business development is structured so that your company can thrive even in times of crisis. And you have just one contact person for all these topics. If you want to thrive in 2025 as well, let’s talk to identify synergies. You can schedule a complimentary meeting through the website.

All the best for 2025 to you,
Fabian
